Having enjoyed time on the Exe Estuary for many years, I have worked with glass, driftwood, seaweed and ice on this site, exploring how colour changes meaning. Concentrating on the landscape surrounding the Estuary, I am currently developing a series of images to see how colours transmit to the viewer, and whether the viewer goes on to experience these colours in a creative fractured way to make their own visual sense of these spaces.
Annette runs a weekly art group, for homeless people combining her training as a youth councellor and experience as an artist.
Through this I am hoping to help make the experience of creating ‘art’ more accessible to people who are excluded from, or who may not normally consider, taking up and enjoying the challenge.
